928 Johns Road Augusta, GA 30904
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA Magnolia Hall is a meticulously restored and renovated winter colony home in the Summerville section of Augusta, Georgia. Originally constructed circa 1881, it was extensively remodeled circa 1910 by legendary architect H.T.E. Wendell as the winter home of a New York department store magnate. It has recently been carefully renovated in such a way that the delicacy of its original architecture has been perfectly preserved. Its beauty is such that anyone, anywhere, at any time in history would have been proud to own it. Aesthetically speaking, it is perhaps the most beautiful of Augusta's many beautiful winter homes and at the same time affords every modern convenience. The Parthenon is no better looking - only a little larger.
