RE/MAX World Long Drive Drive Championship

RE/MAX has put a new spin on golf with its the sponsorship of the RE/MAX Long Drive Championship.  This is no lazy day on the links.  Instead, golfers convert the simple golf ball into a high velocity missile, with the winner being determined not just by distance but also by accuracy.  Men and women, young and old compete in separate categories, starting with local qualifying events and progressing through various levels that finish in Mesquite, Nevada for the $500,000 finale, televised on ESPN.
